In the genealogy in no. 188, in which the charter has been written off, it is described as a Généalogie card issued by the “London Heraldry Chamber.” The charter, dimensions approx. 105 cm by approx. 440 cm, is stored in roll form in an accompanying box. Furthermore, two separate stamps and the key belonging to the box are stored in the box. See also No. 766 and for copies No. 190-191. We have reason to believe that part of the scroll may be wrong. I now believe that Williams’ brother George is the father of the first “John the Draper” Quarles.
